Themed Tour: Poe, Clarke and the Gothic Imagination

Crawford Art Gallery is delighted to host a special literary themed tour of our Harry Clarke exhibition with guest tour guide Miranda Corcoran! Explore Harry Clarke's beautiful renderings of Edgar Allan Poe's tales of murder, mystery and the macabre in HARRY CLARKE: Bad Romance. This tour will last approximately 45 minutes and is free to attend, but booking is essential.

Miranda Corcoran is a lecturer in twenty-first-century literature at University College Cork.  Her first monograph, Witchcraft and Adolescence in American Popular Culture: Teen Witches, was published in 2022 by the University of Wales Press. Her second (short) monograph, The Craft, was published in 2023 by Auteur/Liverpool University Press. She has also published articles on horror and science fiction in The Comics Grid, Aeternum: The Journal of Contemporary Gothic Studies, The New Ray Bradbury Review and Supernatural Studies.
