"Paper-like, very rich in colour and a little bit velvety..."
This edition of Creative Cocooning sees Gillian celebrating the vibrant crimson poppies that have recently appeared in her garden, having been planted from seeds in the spring. The invitation is to simply watch, or listen, or perhaps pick up a brush and paint a poppy or two with Gillian. Please note that Gillian’s voice was re-recorded for this video to improve sound quality.
This video is a way of saying hello to some of our regular visitors and an open invitation to join Gillian with an invitation to look and enjoy being in the moment in these short videos.
The Lonradh programme usually takes place in the gallery with a cuppa, it is an arts programme for older adults and their family members. Lonradh is an Irish word which means to illuminate (it is pronounced Lun-rah).
