Music at Midday returns to the Long Room at the Crawford Art Gallery on Sunday 4 February to showcase a selection of iconic repertoire from the central European classical string tradition. Mentored by Gregory Ellis, Simon Aspell and Christopher Marwood, three vibrant and dynamic student ensembles from MTU Cork School of Music will present works by Joseph Haydn, Bedřich Smetana and Antonín Dvořák in a dazzling juxtaposition of romantic exuberance and classical elegance.
