The partnership between Crawford Art Gallery and Munster Technological University, Cork School of Music continues Music at midday on 1 May 2022.

The Thalia Quartet, founded in 2021, is made up of four BMus students at MTU Cork School of Music; Kate O'Shea, Myn Fitzpatrick, Ciara Scully, and Alina Obreja. The quartet is tutored by Gregory Ellis, and has performed in concerts atMTU Cork School of Music, at UCC’s Aula Maxima as part of the FUAIM series and for the ETC Cork School of Music.
Chroma Quartet includes Lucia Murphy, Ellen O'Connell, Karl Riedewald and Grace Hernan are all prize winners at local and national level.
They came together in September 2021, as The Chroma Quartet, under the tutelage of Simon Aspell at the MTU Cork School of Music.
They have recently become prize winners at Dublin's Feis Ceoil, for their performance of Beethoven's op 18 no 4 string quartet, which they'll play at Crawford Gallery's concerts at midday, on May 1st.
