Crawford Art Gallery announces the triennial Gibson Travelling Fellowship Award, a significant initiative aimed at expanding international mobility and opportunities for professional visual artists.

The selection panel is represented by Dragana Jurišić (Artist and Educator), Megs Morley (Director/Curator, Galway Arts Centre), Paul McAree (Curator, Lismore Castle Arts), and Mary McCarthy (Director, Crawford Art Gallery). Artists will be assessed on artistic quality, feasibility of proposal, artistic ambition and relevance, and likely impact of the proposal to the artist’s practice.

Applications for the Gibson Travelling Fellowship Award are now closed.

The monetary award to the successful artist(s) will be made from the Gibson Bequest Fund held by Crawford Art Gallery, with additional administrative support provided by Culture Ireland and Crawford Art Gallery.
