For her first solo exhibition at Crawford Art Gallery, Persistent Illusion, artist Rita Duffy presents a trilogy of new, largescale works that address urgent themes of planetary crisis and political chaos. We have designed a resource pack to support Senior Cycle students in exploring this exhibition and forming their own opinions. It is especially relevant to the leaving cert section: Visual Studies Today’s World Art as Social Commentary or Commentator.
