1pm, Thursday 9 September
Join artists Laura Fitzgerald and John Strutton for a live talk that will take the form of a “crit” (critical review) of her exhibition I have made a place.
Laura Fitzgerald has created a place in the gallery – a smallholding – using drawing, sound, a new video and a story that conjures a restless figure who is obsessed with cutting turf.
Laura Fitzgerald: I have made a place is the third exhibition in Crawford Art Gallery’s artist-directed programme, which aims to platform the development of an artist’s career, support their current research interests, and connect with audiences through a collaboration with Crawford Art Gallery, its site, and collections.
Free but booking essential. Click here to book through Eventbrite.
