Biographies
Anne-Marie Papin Labazordière studied the harp both in Paris (Conservatoire du XIVème arrondissement) and London (Royal College of Music). At the same time as studying Russian and English in the University of Nantes, she frequently performed in Paris with the Choeur et Orchestre des Grandes Écoles, which eventually convinced her that a career in music was the path she wanted to choose.
Since moving to Ireland in 2007, Anne-Marie has been a freelance musician with the National Symphony Orchestra, RTÉ Concert Orchestra, Ulster Orchestra, Wexford Opera Festival, and nowadays frequently plays with the Cork Opera House Concert Orchestra. Anne-Marie teaches harp at MTU Cork School of Music.
Sokol Koka studied cello in the Giuseppe Verdi Conservatoire in Milan, Italy, and was awarded a Diploma in Chamber Music from the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Munich, Germany.
Apart from his chamber music activity, Sokol was a member of the Symphony Orchestra of Milan “Giuseppe Verdi” from 1997 to 2008. In 2009, he moved to Dublin and since then has been a freelance chamber, ballet and orchestral musician, performing with the National Symphony Orchestra, RTÉ Concert Orchestra, Ulster Orchestra and Wexford Festival Orchestra.
