ABOUT PERCEPTIONS- the Art of Citizenship
From 9 September–29 October a diverse range of artwork will free-wheel across ten city venues, with subject matter ranging from a Beetle Circus, to television personalities
Miriam O’Callaghan and Gay Byrne, buildings, love stories, machines, places, patterns large and small. Perceptions 2016: The Art of Citizenship will showcase the artwork of over sixty artists working in supported studio settings, both nationally and internationally.

This provocative, humorous and confident exhibition will delight visitors, while seeking to create a public space for diverse intelligences and perspectives. These voices enrich our knowledge, experience and understanding of the world.

This workshop will use portrait drawing exercises to explore ways of perceiving others.

How do we see others?
What do we feel looking at others?
How do our eyes, minds, hearts and hands connect while we draw?

Based on a workshop designed and shared by a innovative arts organisation, Debajo Del Sombrero, Madrid, where the GASP artists recently attended a 5 day workshop as part of an Erasmus plus strategic partnership.
