'Mapping Deep Water Habitats: Advances and Challenges' is the topic to be explored by Dr. Aaron Lim, Post-Doctoral Researcher at the School of Biological, Earth and Environmental Sciences, UCC.

Thursday 21 February 
Author Bob Jackson will look at the fascinating story of Dr. Aidan MacCarthy in ‘A Doctor’s Sword - how a Cork doctor survived war, captivity and the atomic bomb’.

Thursday 28 February 
Explorer, photographer and author John Pilkington will describe his experiences in his latest talk 'To Eritrea and Ethiopia: Retracing a Victorian Expedition'.

Thursday 7 March 
Dr. Jim McAdam will present a lecture on the remarkable story of 'Conor O'Brien – Patriot, Yachtsman and Author'.
