Cork Podcast Festival presents..
A special festival double bill

Unexplained with Richard McLean Smith +
 directed by Liam Geraghty,
produced by Peter Dunne

Tickets €13 + booking fee on sale 10am Monday 29th July from

Unexplained is a haunting and unsettling bi-weekly podcast about strange and mysterious real life events that continue to evade explanation.

A story-based show mixing spoken-word narrative, history and ideas - often to terrifying effect - that explores the space between what we think of as real and what is not; where sometimes belief can be as concrete as ‘reality,’ whatever that is…

"I'm hugely excited and honoured to be taking part in this year's Cork Podcast Festival! Join me for an evening of spooky tales as we journey to the town of Hexham where in the summer of 1971, two young boys made a very peculiar discovery indeed. Almost fifty years later, their unusual find and the bizarre series of events that followed in the wake of it continues to baffle and unsettle to this day." - Richard McLean Smith

Petrified is a horror anthology podcast from a darker Ireland. These are the chilling tales of people who heard something. Something they really shouldn't have heard. Listen at your own risk. Written and directed by Peter Dunne and produced by Liam Geraghty with Peter, Crime Reads has called Petrified "extremely well written, expertly produced and brilliantly acted" and it was listed by as one of the top podcasts to listen to in 2019. Petrified also won Bronze for Best Drama Podcast at this years New York Festivals International Radio Awards.

Experience Petrified - the award-winning horror drama podcast - as never before - in complete darkness. A late night radio show host in a remote station receives increasingly disturbing calls from his listeners out there in the dark.
